Novena begins Friday, May 18th in preparation for the Feast of Pentecost

Lord, send out your Spirit!

Spirit of Jesus, give us the gift of wisdom, so that we may have the ability to see things as they really are in an open minded manner.

Spirit of Jesus, give us the gift of understanding so our hearts may accept, care listen, understand and forgive others.

Spirit of Jesus, give us the gift of knowledge so that we may have the abililty to understand the truths of the universe.

Spirit of Jesus, give us the gfit of right judgment so we may have the ability to make good and wise decisions.

Spirit of Jesus, give us the gfit of courage so that we may have the strength to stand up for our beliefs and do what is right against any challenge.

Spirit of Jesus, gift us the gfit of reverence so we may always have a deep resect for God and all creation.

Spirit of Jesus, give us the gift of wonder and awe in God's presence. May we have the realization that our God, great and powerful, loves us and will always be close to us.

We ask this through Jesus whose Spirit is in us and among us, now and forever. Amen.
