Eat, Drink, and Be Catholic

Back for a second year, the Fox Valley parishes will be hosting a monthly gathering for young adults.  
Enjoy food, fellowship, good speakers, and great discussion! 
Please watch this website or check the parish bulletin for up-to-date information.
 
Gather at 6:30, Conversation at 7 PM.
Locations and days of the week will vary.

November 27      Gather at Cheyenne's Sports Bar and Grill, 124 N. Appleton St, 6:30 PM.  Guest speaker, Fr. Quinn Mann, will speak on Young Adult Saints from 7-8 PM.  All are welcome.

December 18      Christmas Caroling for the homebound with dessert to follow.  Gather for a pizza supper in Holly Hall at St. Joseph Parish at 6 PM before leaving to carol.  Please rsvp.  

January 22          Dinner at Good Company at 6:30 PM.  RVSP to anna@stmcath.org by the end of the day on January 21.  

February 19       Tips for Achieving Happiness will be the topic covered by Patti Christensen from the Diocesan Office of Evangelization.  Location TBA.

March 18             Eden and Katherine Foord, of Mount Tabor Center will be the guest speakers.  They have authored spiritual books for young adults, including "Interacting with Christ" and "Becoming Like Christ."  Gather at Good Company, 110 N. Richmond St, Appleton at 6:30.  Talk and discussion from 7:00-8:00 PM.

April 22              Volunteering at St. Vincent DePaul from 6:30-8:00 PM.  Please RSVP to Anna by April 17th so we can let St. Vincent De Paul know how many to expect.  Call 739-8172 or email anna@stmcath.org.

May 27                St. Francis of Assisi.  Details TBA.

Mom's Group
Mothers in their 20's and 30's are invited to participate in a Mom's Group at St. Thomas More.

Women and children gather in the STM Youth Room from 9:30-11:00 Monday mornings.   

No registration is necessary, and moms may come and go as their schedule permits.

New this year, we will incorporate some time for prayer and scripture each week.  We will also invite guest speakers occasionally. The last Monday of the month will be spent at Franciscan Care Center from 10:30 - 11:45 a.m. visiting with residents and playing in the Family Room.
